Nvidia’s first Kepler GPU, the GTX 680 graphics card is now out and has really proven itself worth the wait but the green camp’s offering does not stop there as the company is now planning to release the second wave of its Kepler 600 series graphics card on May.

If you think AMD’s Radeon HD 7850 is the only graphics card with a single slot design being prepared, then you’re mistaken as Galaxy has now been seen doing the same thing with Nvidia’s recently launched GTX 680 graphics card.

Almost a decade ago, Nvidia had a tech demo for its GeForce FX series of graphics cards called ‘Dawn’. It was a fairy who had a pair of wings, two antlers and was wearing a revealing dress. The scene was set in an enchanted forest were ‘Dawn’ showcased Nvidia’s graphics card technology then by exhibiting lifelike animation and features. Now, Nvidia is planning to use Dawn again to demonstrate the capabilities of their recently released GeForce GTX 680 graphics card.

Aqua computer has also launched a water block for Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 680 graphics card. Dubbed as the AquaGraFX GTX 680, this model is a full cover water block that uses copper as its primary material.

Slovenia-based EK Water Blocks has unveiled its EK-FC680 GTX series water block for Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 680 graphics card. This water block is a full model that covers the GPU, RAM and VRMs on the GTX 680 and the upcoming GTX 670 graphics card.

Along with the announcement of its GeForce GTX 680 lineup, EVGA has now also made available for download its new overclocking software, the EVGA Precision X. This new overclocking tool now supports the latest GPU technologies particularly those found on Nvidia’s Kepler GPUs.

Nvidia has officially launched its GeForce GTX 680 graphics card which at the moment is deemed as the fastest single GPU graphics card even when compared to AMD’s Radeon HD 7970. The GeForce GTX 680 is based on the 28nm GK104 GPU that uses Nvidia’s new ‘Kepler’ architecture that brings to the table new GPU technologies that enable it to perform faster than any single GPU solution without consuming large amounts of power.

It seems it’s not only in performance that Nvidia will win over gamers and alike but also in terms of the quality of graphics that the new Kepler GPUs can provide thanks to three new technologies – TXAA, Adaptive V-Sync and the new and improved 3D Vision Surround.

Back at last week’s CeBIT, there were rumors going around that Nvidia Kepler GPUs are just weeks away. Like other card manufacturers, it seems EVGA is putting out all its remaining Nvidia cards out in the market to make room for new inventories and because the next generation Kepler GPUs are just around the corner, EVGA has to make the new cards more attractive resulting to the two new GTX 580 graphics cards that it is now offering to be factory overclocked beyond what the company has done before on previous designs.
