MSI has released the first details about its upcoming entry-level motherboard based on Intel’s 7-series chipset, the B75MZ-P45. The motherboard is a micro-ATX form factor board and provides out-of-the box support for Intel’s upcoming 22nm Ivy Bridge CPUs as well as the current Sandy Bridge CPUs.

Sapphire is looking to give AMD’s APU users who are looking for a value motherboard a treat with its Pure Platinum A55V motherboard for the Llano FM1 socket APUs. The motherboard boasts a fairly basic layout but Sapphire has made sure to provide all the essential goodies.

Since it’s only a month more to go before motherboard manufacturers release their own designs for Intel’s Ivy Bridge CPUs, details about certain models are already starting to surface. The latest addition to the detailed list is MSI’s own Z77A-G45 and ZH77A-G43 which are the company’s affordable LGA1155 motherboard offerings for Ivy Bridge.

Two more of Gigabyte’s motherboards based on the Intel 7-series chipset for Ivy Bridge get detailed and this time, these are not from the company’s gaming series but rather from the mainstream lineup. The two boards on the spotlight are the GA-Z77X-UD3H and GA-Z77X-UD5H with the latter being Gigabyte’s top of the line non-gaming motherboard at the moment while the former is the more budget oriented model.

It looks like it’s not only ASRock that is joining the battle on the mATX gaming front with its mATX Fatal1ty motherboard as Gigabyte has now also been spotted to be preparing its own mATX gaming motherboard dubbed as the G1.Sniper M3 and based on Intel’s 7-series chipset for Ivy Bridge.

ASRock has released its top of the line motherboard for Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E LGA2011 processors, the Fatal1ty X79 professional motherboard. The motherboard comes in the ATX form factor and features premium Gold caps (2.5 x longer life time), 100% Japan-made high-quality conductive Polymer capacitors and loads of overclocking features and expansion slots that can draw out the true potential of Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E platform.

Here are the first pictures of MSI’s unreleased motherboard for both Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge CPUs with the LGA1155 socket design. The board is presumed by sources to be the Z77A-GD55, MSI’s more cost-effective offering based on Intel's Z77 "Panther Point" chipset.

Gigabyte has announced its latest motherboard for AMD’s FX-series of processors, the 970A-DS3 Ultra Durable 4 Classic ATX motherboard that is based on the AMD 970 + SB950 chipset and uses a cost effective design.

EVGA has now released the EPower Board which is a VRM board that can be used to add more Watt capacity to a motherboard or GPU.

Previewed along with the rest of the ROG boards late last year, ASUS has now launched the much awaited last member of its ROG motherboard lineup for the Sandy Bridge-E LGA2011 platform, the Rampage IV GENE. Based on the Intel X79 express chipset, the board comes packed with a full set of overclocking tools and exclusive features found on all ASUS ROG motherboards.

MSI has officially and proudly announced its flagship motherboard for Intel’s enthusiast grade CPUs, Sandy Bridge-E. Major motherboard makers are not expected to reveal their own designs for Intel’s upcoming Ivy Bridge CPUs until next week during CES but Wibtek, a Chinese brand has just gone ahead of the rest by releasing the first pictures of its Z77 based motherboard for Ivy Bridge dubbed as the Hacker Z77.

Sapphire has announced its own high-end motherboard offering for AMD’s FX-series processors, the Pure Black 990FX AM3+ motherboard. A bit late compare to the others but nevertheless, Sapphire’s creation sports some great features including the Sapphire QBIOS – the company’s own designed UEFI BIOS and an 8 phase PWM design with Sapphire Diamond Chokes.

When Asus launched its motherboard lineup for Sandy Bridge, it would have been complete if it weren’t for the absence of one model which is the Rampage IV Gene. Now it seems Asus is finally getting closer to the actual launch of its micro-ATX Sandy Bridge motherboard as more concrete details have surfaced courtesy of the guys over at SweClockers.

Asus had officially launched it motherboard lineup for the X79 Sandy Bridge-E platform but the company does have its ROG series and it doesn’t stop with the ROG Rampage Extreme motherboard that got included in the official launch.

EVGA introduces its own official motherboard lineup for the Intel Sandy Bridge-E processors. The lineup includes the X79 Classified, the X79 FTW and the X79 SLI. All new motherboards feature the X79 chipset and provide support for quad-channel DDR3 memory and the Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0.

Asus has announced its complete motherboard lineup for the new Sandy Bridge-E platform from Intel that includes the P9X79 Series, the ROG Rampage IV Extreme, the TUF SABERTOOTH X79, and the professional P9X79 WorkStation Series. All motherboards are based on the X79 chipset and carry with them the new LGA2011 socket design for the new processors.

Intel has thrown in its own X79 motherboards for its latest flagship processors, the Sandy Bridge-E and now we get a detailed look at one of them, the DX79SI courtesy of the folks over at VR-Zone who were able to get their hands on one.

The first wave of the X79 series of motherboards for Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E LGA2011 processors are starting to hit like storm and MSI is not letting the others beat it into showcasing its own offerings for the new enthusiast platform as it now announces its official lineup of X79 series of motherboards that includes the X79A-GD65 (8D), X79A-GD65, X79A-GD45, and X79MA-GD45.

VIA has been producing some good products in the compact PC system category lately and its latest addition now is the VIA VE-900 mini-ITX motherboard that aims to find its way in home desktops and multimedia systems.

MSI has published in their Facebook page the first pictures of their top of the line motherboard, the Big Bang XPower II that is based on the X79 chipset and made to house Intel’s upcoming enthusiast grade Sandy Bridge-E processors.

We know now that Gigabyte will be introducing the 3D BIOS in all of their upcoming X79 motherboards. For the unfamiliar, it’s that BIOS interface that shows users a 3D image of their motherboard and allowing configuration of the components by simply hovering their mouse pointer over those components and clicking.

Sapphire Technologies, who is known for its AMD Radeon graphics cards has entered the market for Sandy Bridge-E as it introduces its X79 Pure Black motherboard that comes with nice features including a 7-phase digital PWM power supply that draws power from an 8-pin EPS connector and a total of six PCI-Express 3.0 with three being x16 capable while all of them being x8 capable.

The UEFI interface has already been adapted in almost all of the modern motherboards of today and with manufacturers aiming to stand out from the rest of the competition many variations and customizations are being made.

MSI is sure to throw its own micro-ATX motherboard for the LGA2011 Sandy Bridge-E processors and proof of that is the X79MA-GD45 motherboard that as of now is only the second board in the micro-ATX form factor to be confirmed for the upcoming processors from Intel apart from ASRock’s X79 Extreme4-M.

It may not look like much but Biostar’s incoming TPower X79 motherboard for Sandy Bridge-E packs a lot of essential overclocking features. It looks a bit lacking at first compared to the other overclocker oriented motherboards out there but don’t be fooled as the company’s TPower brand, even in the past was not really known to carry so much load with it but rather only those features that are really important for overclocking.

Foxconn’s gamer-overclocker oriented motherboard, the Quantum Force X79 has been pictured bearing the final design that it will take when it finally hits retail later this year. The board will support the upcoming Sandy Bridge-E processors from Intel and will take on the other manufacturer’s products including Asus’ ROG series, Gigabyte’s G1.Killer and ASRock’s Fatal1ty Professional motherboards.

ASRock’s LGA2011 lineup becomes complete with the emergence of the X79 Exteme4 motherboard that adapts the same gold and black theme including the active fan-heatsink found over the chipset itself that have recently become a trademark of the company’s motherboards for the new Intel platform.

Major motherboard makers have already provided their BIOS/UEFI updates for their FM1 motherboards in preparation of the upcoming new models and it seems that the latest additions will not just be new A-series APUs but will also include Sempron and Athlon II brandings as well.

ASRock is looking to join the top boys offering the best LGA2011 enthusiast grade motherboard with its own bet, the X79 Extreme9 motherboard that comes fully packed with features starting with the high-grade PWM circuitry with two 8-pin EPS connectors that powers the CPU, a full array of eight DDR3 DIMMS and a total of five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots.
