Gigabyte has officially announced its G1.Sniper M3 and G1.Sniper motherboards based on Intel’s Z77 Express chipset. The G1.Sniper M3 is Gigabyte’s first micro-ATX gaming motherboard offering that is looking to compete with Asus’ Rampage Gene. The G1.Sniper on the other hand is the XL-ATX counterpart that is also looking to compete with other gaming motherboards in its segment.
Gigabyte has introduced two new Intel Atom Cedar Trail powered netbooks – the Q2006 and the T1006 that both feature 10.1-inch displays. Both models’ choice of processor is the Intel Atom dual core processor N2800 that runs at 1.86Ghz. The main difference between the two is that the T1006 has the ability to be transformed into a slate PC thanks to its 180o rotatable multi-touch display.
Gigabyte expands its barebone PC offering with the announcement of the GB-AEGT All-in-One PC that is claimed by the company as gaming friendly. The GB-AEGT features a 24-inch (1920 x 1080) LED-backlit display that supports 2-point multi-touch. It packs an Intel H61 Mini-ITX motherboard that can be fitted with a choice among Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
Two more of Gigabyte’s motherboards based on the Intel 7-series chipset for Ivy Bridge get detailed and this time, these are not from the company’s gaming series but rather from the mainstream lineup. The two boards on the spotlight are the GA-Z77X-UD3H and GA-Z77X-UD5H with the latter being Gigabyte’s top of the line non-gaming motherboard at the moment while the former is the more budget oriented model.
It looks like it’s not only ASRock that is joining the battle on the mATX gaming front with its mATX Fatal1ty motherboard as Gigabyte has now also been spotted to be preparing its own mATX gaming motherboard dubbed as the G1.Sniper M3 and based on Intel’s 7-series chipset for Ivy Bridge.
Gigabyte has announced the P2532F 15.6-inch gaming notebook that comes powered by an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with a base clock of 2.2GHz and maximum turbo boost of 3.1GHz. The powerful processor is paired with an Nvidia GT 555M discrete GPU with 2GB of video memory and support for Nvidia Optimus technology.
Gigabyte has announced the S1081 Slate PC that is powered by the latest dual-core Intel Atom N2800 Cedar Trail CPU running at 1.86GHz and comes with an integrated GMA 3600 graphics. The S1081 features a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch panel 1024x600 with LED backlight and runs Windows 7 Home Premium/Professional.
Gigabyte has announced its latest motherboard for AMD’s FX-series of processors, the 970A-DS3 Ultra Durable 4 Classic ATX motherboard that is based on the AMD 970 + SB950 chipset and uses a cost effective design.
Gigabyte has announced its reference designed HD 7970 graphics card and along with it is the company’s own custom designed HD 7970 WindForce 3X graphics card that features the latest Triangle Cool technology that enables up to 15% cooler temperatures.

Gigabyte has come out with its LUXO X10 mid-tower chassis that features a right side installation that places the motherboard in an opposite position placing the CPU on the bottom while the VGA and other expansion cards on top. AMD’s high end FX-series of processors are yet to be released but motherboards supporting them carrying the AM3+ design are already being manufactured with some even started a couple of months ago and Gigabyte being one of the manufacturers who have foreseen the need to have readily available solutions for the chips when they finally arrive has revealed the official initial lineup in its GA-990FXA-UD7 (rev. 1.0) CPU support list.
Every motherboard manufacturer has something unique to offer to its consumers practically making it as the main selling point of the company’s products. Gigabyte just so happens to have its Durable technology to brag about that focuses on long life and reliability of the components and now, that same technology is being upgraded by the company to the latest fourth generation of Durable technology, the Ultra Durable 4 Classic motherboard technology.
With other graphics cards manufacturers such as ASUS and EVGA throwing in their own unique and heavily modified version of Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 580, Gigabyte refuses to be toppled over in the market segment and thus came out with a card of its own equipped with its signature WinForce 3x Cooler and a massive 3GB GDDR5 memory.
Gigabyte never stops innovating with its products and that is why it is introducing two new Radeon HD 6870 equipped with the company’s signature WindForce 3X cooler featuring three PWM fans on a large heatsink complete with pure copper heat pipes.
