AMD’s monster dual-GPU graphics card, the Radeon HD 7990 has been reported to be slated for an April release. Originally thought as an axed product, this graphics card will most likely pack two Tahiti XT GPUs that are linked together via CrossFireX.
Acer has released two new notebooks, the 15.6-inch Aspire 5560 and the 17.3-inch Aspire 7560 that both come pack with AMD’s latest A-series of APUs with as much as four cores and integrated graphics plus the ability to enable CrossFireX mode with a discrete GPU for improved graphics performance.
