Toshiba Introduces the REGZA AT200 - The World’s Thinnest 10.1-inch Android Tablet

Toshiba has launched in Singapore the REGZA AT200 tablet which is now the thinnest 10.1-inch tablet in the market running the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. Weighing just 535g and measuring only 7.7mm at its thickest point, the REGZA AT200 not only looks good but is also easy to carry around.

The tablet features a display with a 1280x800 screen resolution and is reinforced by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor (model unknown) while available interfaces include micro-USB, micro-SD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro-HDMI ports.

Toshiba also added front and rear HD cameras to the REGZA AT200. In addition, the tablet comes with stereo speakers equipped with sound enhancing technologies from Toshiba and SRS Labs and the proprietary Resolution+ technology that improves standard-definition videos, making them appear to be HD clips.

Currently, the REGZA AT200 is available in 16GB and 32GB models with the former selling for $530 while the latter is available for $600. No announcement yet as when the tablet will be available outside Asian markets.
